Roundtable: Will China’s carbon emissions continue to rise?
The last week analysis of Greenpeace, says that China's CO2 emissions have increased by 4% in the first quarter of 2018, compared to the same period in 2017. The same analysis also cautioned that the country is likely to see its biggest annual carbon emissions surge in seven years. Chinadialogue, in the article of 6 June 2018, entitled: “Roundtable: Is China still on track to reach its Paris targets?”, re-released on 7 June 2018, under the title: “Roundtable: Will China’s carbon emissions continue to rise?”, on Eco-Business online magazine, invited for a round table, three major Chinese climate experts to understand what does the recent increase in CO2 emissions for China and what efforts the country accomplish to achieve CO2 emissions peak by 2030, after which Beijing will begin to emissions decrease.
